recorded haphazardly on garageband and my brother played bongos. yes, bongos. there were no second takes it isn't really meant for you to hear. pardon the shitty recording.

it won't get you high if he don't feel the same

but love don't come in pill form like vicodin
and if he's gone you can't fill him with a prescription

love is a two way street

they say you've gotta sit with your desire
you poured the gasoline onto your own fire
chasing the romance and the poetry
carve his name into your chest and you're sad because you're bleeding

if you want love you've gotta suffer through it
it might fill you up for a couple of minutes
but you feel lost if you can't engage his stare
you got into withdrawal every time that he's not there
